Lauren Blogs About Books

The Invention of Hugo Cabret is such a great story. I loved how it was told mostly through pictures, but both the text that was there and the illustrations were completely necessary to the story. Nothing felt out of place.

It was also one of the most true-to-story book to movie adaptations I have seen in a long time. I highly highly recommend this book.

You can read my full review of it here.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins is probably one of my favourite books for many silly little reasons. You can read about why here.

Also, I’m thinking of doing a giveaway of just something small once I reach about 10 followers, so if you’re interested, follow my blog for more information!
